Shaykh Salih Yaqoob is a highly accomplished Islamic scholar and educator with extensive academic and practical experience in Sharia law, Usul al-Fiqh, and Islamic education. A graduate of the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah, he is known for his scholarly depth, effective teaching methods, and active role in educational outreach and da’wah.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sharia from the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah, where he laid a solid foundation in Islamic jurisprudence and legal theory. He further pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Judiciary and Sharia Politics at the same institution, gaining deeper insight into Islamic legal systems and governance.
Continuing his academic journey, he earned a Master’s Degree in Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence), presenting a thesis titled “Application of Foundational Legal Maxims in Deriving Juridical Rulings from the Book ‘Subul al-Salam’ by Imam al-San’ani.”
Building on his advanced research, he completed a Ph.D. in Usul al-Fiqh from the Islamic University of Madinah with a distinguished dissertation on “Foundational Legal Maxims and Their Application in the Works of Imam Ibn Abi Zayd al-Maliki through His Commentary on Sahih al-Bukhari.” His academic achievements reflect a profound mastery of Islamic legal principles and a commitment to scholarly excellence.
